I Love it!

I believe each of us is given a gift... a gift of specific talents.  Each person has different talents and "gifts" than the next.  No one person has the same talent as the other.  I have come to learn that a talent I was given was the ability to use my hands to help others.
When I was younger I played the piano (I can still play but not nearly as well as I could then).  There were many occasions that I ventured into an assisted living facility and sat down at their piano and played song after song.  Seeing the smile on the residents faces was priceless.  Hearing them sing along was even better.  Although most times the singing was off key, too slow or sometimes down right terrible.  But I LOVED it!

I've always loved helping others.  It's part of my personality and comes easy to me.  I grew up serving other in the community and am pleased that I am able to continue to do so.  As I've continued my journey as a Certified Foot Zonologist I've come to realize that I can help others through Foot Zoning.  I can once again use my hands to help others.
With that said I'm asking your help.....  It would be so helpful if you would PLEASE leave a comment and let others know how Inner Soles (and me) has helped you!  It would be great!  I LOVE hearing the good things that come from what I do.  And I hope that others will gain a better understanding of what Foot Zoning is and how it can help them.

All the many questions... THEY HAVE ANSWERS!

I have been asked these questions MANY times.  It's hard to give a good explanation while I'm talking face to face with someone.  So next time I get asked I'm just going to say.... Go read my blog!  HA!

Where did Foot Zonology come from?

Foot Zonology started with Zone Therapy. Zone Therapy, in some form or another, has been practiced as a healing method for thousands of years. It has come and gone with the rise and fall of civilizations. Hieroglyphics and ancient paintings depicting this therapy have been found in Egypt and India. The modern history of Zone Therapy begins with Dr. William Fitzgerald, (1872-1946) an American nose and throat specialist. He developed a theory describing the electrical circuits or "meridians" in the human body. Dr. Edwin Bowers documented his work. In the 1950`s a Norwegian named Dr. Charles Ersdal, M.D., M.A., was cured from paralysis using Zone Therapy. This experience thrust him into 26 years of intense research. He determined that the body contains its own innate healing intelligence which is stimulated or triggered through specific and intricate Foot Zone Therapy. This method utilizes the feet's natural "signal" system to establish balance, elevate your life energy and renew cells in the body. He also discovered that the body would consistently respond as a dynamically interrelated whole rather than as separate symptomatic parts. During this time of research, Dr. Ersdal was able to chart the human anatomy as it relates to these "points" on the foot. He charted the entire physiology including the brain, blood and lymph circulation, and musculature. source
Katri Nordblom, a Zone Therapist trained by Dr. Ersdal, began to teach and spread this method of healing in Sweden. Then in the spring of 1989 Katri and her husband Hans brought Zone Therapy to the United States. In 1990 they established the Nordblom American Institute of FootZonology.

What is Foot Zonology?

Foot Zonology is the science of the signal system in the feet. It consists of both Zone Balance and Zone Analysis. Zone Balance is the method of utilizing these signals to balance, restore, rejuvenate, and repair our bodies. Zone Analysis is how to read, see and feel the signals.  Foot Zoning is a natural form of healing that has helped many people from different walks of life overcome ailments they are suffering from.  These ailments can include discomforts, chronic pain, illness, diseases, weight issues, addictions, emotional problems, and mental problems. Foot Zoning unlike other natural healing therapies works with the body as a whole instead of individual symptoms. This gives your body the ability to work as a system and completely eliminate the problem as a whole instead treating one of symptoms that may occur from the problem. source

What are the benefits of Foot Zoning?

Foot Zoning can benefit newborn babies to the elderly and everyone in between. Some of the benefits from having your feet zoned are: renewal and rejuvenation of the body's cell systems, being able to access the current state of your health, renewing and raising the body's life energy, balancing the body's systems (individually as well as in relation to each other), disease prevention, improving overall health, improving the body's immune system, aids in regaining health after major illness or injury, and increases longevity.

How does Foot Zoning work?

Through our feet you can tell everything that is happening in the body because of a signal system that is in the feet. This signal system is connected to every individual cell in the body.  To really understand how Foot Zoning works we must first understand the basic job of a cell.  Our body is made up of thousands of cells.  The job of each cell is to die and then create a new cell.  This is how our body heals from injuries and sickness.  Just as our brain makes memories so does each cell in our body.  That is why after we get cut we have a scar.  The cell that was damaged still holds the memory of the damage and creates a new cell that is imperfect because of the cut.  When our cells are damaged (because of bacteria, virus, food, emotional stress, mental stress, or trauma) and hold the memory of the damage they make new cells that aren't in their "healthy" state but in their damaged state.  This is why over time our bodies slowly break down.  This change in the cell allows illness and disease to set in (as well as other emotional and mental changes).  Through Foot Zoning we have the ability to go in, remove the memory from the cell and bring it back to the "healthy" cell it was suppose to be and heal our bodies.  Through doing this we don't treat the symptoms it eliminates the problem all together.  While it would be great to have this process happen over night (or in one zone) it doesn't.  With regular Zoning and improvement of your lifestyle, it will improve your overall health.

Katelyn's story

So I've been asked a time or two how I got started in foot zoning and since the explanation is lengthy I figure I'll share it in full here.....

My youngest (Jaxson) was born in March 21, 2011.
By the first week of April I had a severe case of mastitis.  I saw multiple doctors, took numerous oral medications, got shots in my butt (oh those were SO painful), ended up getting a PICC line for an super power antibiotic that they normally give to cancer patients, and STILL had mastitis.  I had said infection for 4 months!  You read that right.  4 months of a pain.  NOTHING was taking care of it.  Modern medicine had FAILED me!  Hearing "I just don't know what else to try" from medical professionals isn't a good feeling.  And then my problems only got worse.  I kept having HORRIBLE pain in my side.  I thought it was from all the antibiotics I had been on (12).  So I pushed it off until it got so bad I couldn't walk, talk, or even function.  I seriously felt like I was dying.  Well good news came in the form of relief from the pain.  Bad news was that I had 12 gall stones (3 of which were stuck in my bile ducts and were causing the pain).  2 surgeries, 4 days in the hospital, and TONS of pain medication later I was sent home to heal with a drain coming out of my side.  I was MISERABLE!  And the worst part of everything is that my milk dried up!  I nursed through 4 months of mastitis for NOTHING! It was then that I decided a change was in order.  I quit using 90% of my medications and went the all natural route.  I mean how could modern medicine fail me so many times and I not change something.

Continue a few months down the road... My baby started this hacking cough.  I couldn't get rid of it.  NOTHING worked.  Said cough then turned into pneumonia.... 5 different times!
I was beyond done with having a sleepless, coughing, miserable baby.  I talked with a friend (Aleesha) and she recommended I have him zoned.  I had no idea what she was talking about.  But I decided I would give it a try.  She told me a few things I should change but the major changes were his diet.  He was on Soy formula (because he couldn't handle regular dairy formula) and little did know how bad Soy really is. Read more about Soy at The Whole Soy Story.  I decided that since I was so sick of breathing treatments that changing his diet wouldn't be a bad thing.  I jumped in head first and made HUGE changes in his diet.  I mean look how miserable.  I had to hold his hands down away from his face every 3 hours because he had such bad problems.

Even after I changed Jaxson's diet there would be things that would cause him breathing problems and I would have to run over to Aleesha's house and get him zoned.  It was a hassle for her and a pain for me.  I finally decided (since Aleesha could possibly be moving out of the country) that I needed to learn how to do this for myself.

I needed to give my son all the chances in life I could even with his severe asthma and allergies.  I started the class so that I could help my family.  So that I could provide for my children a way of getting better without having to go through such horrible tests and treatments to only be given no solid answer.  I NEVER planned on zoning for profit.  In fact when the idea first came to me it made me shudder a bit.  However, the more I thought about the idea the more it made sense.  I LOVE helping people in any way possible.  So why not zone other people, besides my family.  They need the benefit of Zoning just as much as I do.

And there you have it.  I'm becoming a Certified FootZonologist to help and aid my family, your family, and your friends!
