My youngest (Jaxson) was born in March 21, 2011.
By the first week of April I had a severe case of mastitis. I saw multiple doctors, took numerous oral medications, got shots in my butt (oh those were SO painful), ended up getting a PICC line for an super power antibiotic that they normally give to cancer patients, and STILL had mastitis. I had said infection for 4 months! You read that right. 4 months of a pain. NOTHING was taking care of it. Modern medicine had FAILED me! Hearing "I just don't know what else to try" from medical professionals isn't a good feeling. And then my problems only got worse. I kept having HORRIBLE pain in my side. I thought it was from all the antibiotics I had been on (12). So I pushed it off until it got so bad I couldn't walk, talk, or even function. I seriously felt like I was dying. Well good news came in the form of relief from the pain. Bad news was that I had 12 gall stones (3 of which were stuck in my bile ducts and were causing the pain). 2 surgeries, 4 days in the hospital, and TONS of pain medication later I was sent home to heal with a drain coming out of my side. I was MISERABLE! And the worst part of everything is that my milk dried up! I nursed through 4 months of mastitis for NOTHING! It was then that I decided a change was in order. I quit using 90% of my medications and went the all natural route. I mean how could modern medicine fail me so many times and I not change something.Continue a few months down the road... My baby started this hacking cough. I couldn't get rid of it. NOTHING worked. Said cough then turned into pneumonia.... 5 different times!
I was beyond done with having a sleepless, coughing, miserable baby. I talked with a friend (Aleesha) and she recommended I have him zoned. I had no idea what she was talking about. But I decided I would give it a try. She told me a few things I should change but the major changes were his diet. He was on Soy formula (because he couldn't handle regular dairy formula) and little did know how bad Soy really is. Read more about Soy at The Whole Soy Story. I decided that since I was so sick of breathing treatments that changing his diet wouldn't be a bad thing. I jumped in head first and made HUGE changes in his diet. I mean look how miserable. I had to hold his hands down away from his face every 3 hours because he had such bad problems.
Even after I changed Jaxson's diet there would be things that would cause him breathing problems and I would have to run over to Aleesha's house and get him zoned. It was a hassle for her and a pain for me. I finally decided (since Aleesha could possibly be moving out of the country) that I needed to learn how to do this for myself.
I needed to give my son all the chances in life I could even with his severe asthma and allergies. I started the class so that I could help my family. So that I could provide for my children a way of getting better without having to go through such horrible tests and treatments to only be given no solid answer. I NEVER planned on zoning for profit. In fact when the idea first came to me it made me shudder a bit. However, the more I thought about the idea the more it made sense. I LOVE helping people in any way possible. So why not zone other people, besides my family. They need the benefit of Zoning just as much as I do.
And there you have it. I'm becoming a Certified FootZonologist to help and aid my family, your family, and your friends!
Very cool.
